ACTIVITIES
Today, under the sagacious stewardship of Dharmapracharak Ramineni, education has been given the pride of place in the foundation's activities. Recognising the latent scholastic talent from amongst the impoverished rural children and rewarding them with PRATIBHA PURASKAARAMS in all mandals of Guntur District in A.P. has been his brainchild. Simultaneously, striving to focus the spotlights on the unsung yet exemplary efforts of rural headmasters, he has instituted the GURU PURASKAARAMS, honouring them for their academic execellence. In addition, the foundation has provided adhoc financial grants to brilliant but impecunious students so that their dreams of pursuing higher education could be given wings!
In addition to education, societal developments have never taken a backseat. Apalled by the hardships faced by the villagers, he has strived to convert his ancestral village, the sleepy hamlet of Brahmanakodur in Guntur District, to a model village. The village has been provided with a gigantic water tank, purified and treated drinking water facilities, CC Roads, a Kalyana Mandapam, a veterinary hospital etc., utilizing the own funds of the foundation.
Several religious structures have been renovated and a hundred acre farm with modern farming techniques has been established in the village. To assist the Guntur Police in effective management of Law and Order, the foundation has established a control and command centre in Guntur Police Headquarters with modern surveillance systems, imported from U.S.A.
Additionally, the annual activity of felicitating the outstanding achievements of the silent sentinels of Indian Society from a wide spectrum of fields in Arts, Sciences & Humanity, continues with renewed vigour, every year.
Recently, under the Government's Smart Village program, Dr. Ramineni Fondation adopted Brahmanakoduru village. In pursuit of the Swatch Bharat Mission, the Foundation recently constructed 263 toilets in Brahmanakoduru village.
During the pandemic intensity, Dr. Ramineni Foundation administered 2 doses of COVID - 19 vaccine through various camps to around 1500 people.
